- Related to relevant parties with regards to specific cargoes both on conventional (liquid and dry bulk) as well as containers.
- Handle paper documentations such as custom declarations for inbound/outbound, mates receipt, cargo manifest, Bill of Lading, out-turn report and etc, for and on behalf of the principal.
- Cargo out turn for both loading and discharging.
- Ensure compliance with manifest /loading list
- All relevant documents executed and signed including:
- SOF/Time sheet
- Notice of Readiness
- Vessel Variant Report
- Cargo Manifest/Tally sheets/Cargo Outturn Report
- Shipping Order/copy of Bill of Lading/Stowage Plan (loading operations)
- Survey Reports
- Immigration clearance Certificate (next port of call is of a Malaysia Port)
- Port Clearance
- To sail vessel within the shortest possible time upon completion of cargo
- Vessel Departure Report
- To advertise as agreed by the principal vessel sailing and arrival schedules.
- To attend to conference matters.
- To advise the consignee the cargo arrivals, to collect freight and to issue delivery orders.
- To liaise with principals with regards to exports and to ensure timely alongside presentation for loading, freight collection and preparation, execution and release of the Bill of Lading
- To quote freight rates, to announce freight tariffs and amendments.
- To attend to transshipment cargo including the booking of on-carriage or pre-carriage as may be required and to negotiate on-carriage or pre-carriage freight rates.
- To ensure proper, safe and secure handling and storage of transshipment cargo.
- To canvass for import and export of cargo and to produce marketing reports and statistics for principals.
